Album zawiera reprodukcje ponad stu archiwalnych pocztówek, wydawanych od lat 90. XIX wieku do połowy lat 40. XX wieku. Ukazano w nim możliwie pełną panoramę ówczesnej prowincji dolnośląskiej, która jako element Królestwa Prus należała do Cesarstwa Niemieckiego, a w latach międzywojennych do tzw. Republiki Weimarskiej i III Rzeszy. Pocztówki opatrzone zostały komentarzem dotyczącym prezentowanych na nich obiektów oraz ich historii. Das Band bringt Reproduktionen von über hundert alten Ansichtskarten aus den 90-ger Jahren des 19. Jh. bis in die Hälfte der 40-ger Jahre des 20. Jh. Dadurch wurde ein nahezu vollständiges Panorama der damaligen Provinz Niederschlesien dargestellt, die als ein Teil des Königreichs Preußen zugleich ein Teil des Deutschen Kaiserreichs war und nach dem 1. Weltkrieg zur Weimarer Republik und zum Dritten Reich gehörte. Die Ansichtskarten wurden mit Kommentaren zu den dargestellten Objekten und deren Geschichte versehen. The album contains reprints of over one hundred archive postcards published between the 1890s and the 1940s. It showcases possibly the fullest panorama of the Lower Silesian province, at that time. The province was constituting a part of the Prussian Kingdom, which belonged to the German Empire. In the interwar period it belonged to the Weimar Republic, and the Third Reich. Postcards come along with notes on the presented sights and their history.
